Mission
Social Sphere is a platform designed to assist teens in addressing challenges related to self-isolation. Our mission extends to raising awareness about self-isolation and various mental health topics, while providing tips and resources for teens, creating a secure and inviting space for them to access the support they need. Social Sphere’s main goal is fostering a community where teens can find the help and guidance necessary for navigating the complexities of mental well-being and self-isolation.
Our Vision:
So far, our platform has reached over 32,000 teens in Washington and globally! We have presented locally to Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors, aiming to foster a supportive environment where teens can openly discuss and address mental health challenges.
Our Connection:
Shriya and Aanchal, the creators of Social Sphere, are high school students at Tesla STEM High School. Like many of their peers, they understand the common challenges of academic rigor, social expectations, and emotional pressures that high schoolers face. These experiences inspired them to create Social Sphere, a platform dedicated to addressing issues like isolation and anxiety among teens, providing a supportive community and valuable resources for navigating mental health challenges.
